The confluence of disability inclusion, overall music business relations, sync licensing, and music catalog development. Living with cerebral palsy, George is an Emmy-winning recording artist who has devoted her career to making music and supporting the inclusion of people with disabilities in the music industry. His path to a master's degree at Full Sail University started when he overcame job discrimination in a recording studio in Los Angeles. Through this experience, George was able to hone my abilities and make a substantial contribution to the music industry. Apart from his artistic pursuits, he has held diverse positions in the music industry. George collaborated with the International Paralympic Committee on their global initiative, "WeThe15," which aims to eradicate prejudice towards people with disabilities. Beyond advocacy, he has a solid background in digital marketing, audio engineering, music business, and digital asset management. Thanks to his special combination of skills, George can successfully navigate the constantly changing music industry. Working with artists from the Hipgnosis Songs Fund, he developed and successfully obtained several tour dates for Warner Music Group artists in 2022. Thanks to his attention to detail, he has curated the correct publishing splits for over 70 songwriters and uploaded over 600 songs by curating different playlist categories for artists and songwriters. But even with these successes, George is aware that there is still a glaring lack of representation for people with disabilities in the music business. A disability or medical condition affects thirty percent of US white-collar workers, according to the Center for Talent Innovation. However, according to estimates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the CDC, only roughly 17% of workers have a health condition or disability; working together, we can make the music industry more inclusive, giving people with disabilities equal chances to show off their skills and make substantial contributions to the creation of music catalogs, sync licensing, and other areas of the music industry.
